The 2025 Orlando Caribbean Classic in the Dominican Republic was established in 2012 by my father, Orlando Cepeda, and myself with the objective of introducing USA players to Latin America and experiencing international baseball. Initially, we hosted the event in Puerto Rico, where I was born and raised until age 10. For our fourth annual event, we relocated to the Dominican Republic, a nation renowned for its strong baseball culture. In this country, young men are inherently passionate about baseball, often prioritizing gloves, bats, and baseballs over toys. This enthusiasm stems from numerous opportunities available for players to get drafted, provide for their families, and fulfill their dreams. This summer marks the tenth consecutive year we have hosted this event in San Pedro de Macorís.

Our 10th annual Cepeda Caribbean Classic event is coming right around the corner.

The summer 2025 will be a huge accomplishment for our staff celebrating our 10th successful baseball events in the Caribbean.

The Cepeda Classic stared in 2012 in Puerto Rico and has worked this way through Latin America into Dominican Republic. We are overwhelmed with gratefulness and appreciation , and feel blessed to provide youth a chance to not only witness, but be a participant in a special event.

Travel to Dominican Republic, which is one of the richest baseball hubs in Latin America, and it highly proofed every time you watch a baseball game.

Cepeda Baseball has been developing players since 2007. Once our President Ali Cepeda finished his baseball career he knew that staying in the game of baseball was his calling. Cepeda Baseball has shifted over to Cepeda Sports and has been working with athletes in baseball and softball.
