This is your chance to show—not just tell. Whether it’s:

Or any interactive demonstration
…we want people to see it, experience it, and connect with it.

🔔 More Than 1776… It’s Our Whole Story

This June, step into history for Legacy of Liberty: An America 250 Celebration—a two-day event that brings our past to life right here in Marion, Kentucky.

June 26 kicks things off with a hometown parade, trivia competition, and a living history campfire. Then on June 27, the community transforms into a walk-through timeline—featuring Revolutionary War, Civil War, and other historical encampments, hands-on demonstrations, food trucks, vendors, and activities for all ages.

You’ll experience history in motion with living statues, interactive exhibits, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, entertainment, and even a vintage-style baseball game. It’s a chance to see how our local story connects to the bigger American story—across generations, cultures, and time.
