This church is so pretty 😊
I also had a helper who ate a couple bugs but does NOT like the vacuum.

Family Christmas party held at the hall. Didn’t take many pictures but the family enjoyed making homemade pizzas(a family tradition/recipe) and baking them fresh in the full kitchen! Followed by some games and gift exchange!

A bit about the grounds! The church itself is absolutely gorgeous! It holds up to 100 people in the beautiful old pews. It has a piano and an organ. There is an addition off the church with 5 small rooms. One mens bathroom, one womens bathroom, a "bridal suite", a storage room, and another "sitting room". (im slowly putting these rooms back together and making them look nice) Directly beside the church is a hall with a full kitchen! The hall can hold 50-75 people comfortably. It has tables and chairs as well as a piano that i plan to turn into a dessert table. There is also a beautiful shaded outside area with a couple picnic tables and fire ring. There is also plenty of space to rent a large tent and have out there. Adequate parking as well as a beautiful old cemetery to check out. Its also notable that this place is right on the edge of Cook Forest.

Dear everyone, a quick back story! This church was built many many years ago on part of my dad's family farm. Since then other family members have donated more land for expansion and the cemetery. I grew up attending this church and have many fond memories here. It recently had to close its doors as an operating church, and was probably going to end up for sale to who knows! To avoid someone turning it into a camp(although that would be kind of cool) or chance someone tearing it down, my family decided it needed to return to its rightful owners. haha. So, I (Dena) along with lots of family support, am now running it as a non-profit event venue for people to continue to enjoy for years to come! Hit me with all your ideas!! im open to anything!
It would make a BEAUTIFUL wedding venue, as well as birthday parties, family reunions, Christmas parties, craft shows, girls nights, whatever!
All proceeds will go back into the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds and facility, with hopes to see enough revenue to be able to then donate to local foster families in need.
