Dave’s Final Table Support Krewe features stalwart competitors and noted WFC Sous Chefs of the Year

Round two starts this morning at 9 AM and results will be posted midday. Three competitors will be left standing and of them, one will take home the six figure grand prize, and the title of World Food Champion.

And so it begins. Ten Food Champs are about to throw down to see who will earn the title of World Food Champion. It’s the . And it’s the culmination of a year of contests.
 
It’s held at Brightwater: A Center for the Study of Food. Here, the 10 will be cut to 6, 6 cut to 3, and lastly, 3 to The One.
 
Missourians, pay attention: Of the this year’s ten finalists, TWO are from Mighty MO. This year it’s World Burger Champ Dave Elliott from KC and World Live Fire Champ Mike Johnson of STL. In case it ain’t clear, we rock WFC. Missouri has had two of ten not just this year but we did it last year, and two years prior to that. AND over the 13 years of competition, setting qualifiers and top ten performers aside—counting only Champs—Missouri has roughly 10% of the global share of Champions.
