This is Keith Jenkins from this group. On behalf of our team that helped put this Tchefuncte Gumbo Cookoff on within 7 weeks we appreciate everyone that cooked and came out to support the Madisonville Historic Museum. Y’all really showed up. Had more people showed up than expected. Thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers, teams, and attendees that helped this event come together for one of the best events on our riverfront. Thanks to the BIG trucks, SXS & four wheelers for the kids to see and take pictures with. Joey Roberts we thank you for playing the perfect atmosphere music during this event. We took notes on how to make this event better. This event brought the spark back what this town needed. It had family and friends from all over hanging out enjoying good food & music. Congratulations to all the winners and everyone that showed up was a winner for help raise money for a good cause. Sorry I didn’t get to talk to everyone at event I was all over the place to help out trying to make things go smooth. 2027 GUMBO cookoff look out it’s gonna be bigger ! Again we at the “TCHEFUNCTE GUMBO COOKOFF” Thank everyone that showed up.
