⭐️ PARADE ROUTE AND TIMELINE
2:00 PM to 2:30 PM -
Boaters gather at Salty’s Marina in the no wake zone.
At the sound of the horn from the lead boat, parade will head south on the Tchefuncte River toward the Madisonville Bridge.
🚤 Maintain an idle speed of approximately 3–5 knots and create no wake during the procession.
🚤 Do not pass up lead boat.
🚤 There is no assigned numbering or formal order for the lineup, so use your best judgment when selecting your place in formation, taking into account your vessel’s handling characteristics and the safety of other boats.
👮♂️ Coast guard and sheriff will be present at lineup and during procession.
3:00 PM
The parade passes through the scheduled bridge opening, continues south to the Maritime Museum dock area, then circles back heading north.
4:00 - 4:30PM – Getting into position for the parade finale!
* Parade divides into two groups: Boaters pick a side to be on for the finale. Northbound boats use the 4:00 PM bridge opening to cross. Boats will start moving into final positions between 4-4:30.
4:30 PM - Celebration kick-off at the bridge with National Anthem and flyover by the Tiger Trac Formation Team.
By 4:30pm, boats on both sides of the bridge should be stopped and holding position in the river for the National Anthem and flyover, which kicks off the evening celebration and marks the end of the parade.
⭐️ For everyone’s safety, follow all Louisiana boating laws and all United States Coast Guard rules and regulations while enjoying the water.
🎆 Fireworks at Dusk
(no docking along the riverfront wall until after the fireworks show.)
