High Plains Print+Music Festival can be lazy, e.g. taking so long to make the public thanks to the people who made this festival happen: the glorious volunteers who are not lazy at all.

THANK YOU videographer Daniel Clayton and photographers Jonathan Bergen and Ivan Santiago Bravo. SHOUT OUT to Lubbock's own Active Arts, who were active in holding this event together, from start to finish. To Ana García Merino and BLNKA who sat through so many meetings and still had enough energy to make sure everything ran smoothly, we love you and the work you do. To the staff and interns at Charles Adams Studio Project - CASP who kept us on task in part by taking on a lot of tasks. And last but definitely not least, to the amazing team of HPF volunteers that handled whatever came their way with infectious enthusiasm and great aplomb.

High Plains Print+Music Festival invites you to preview PRINT WAVES. This exhibition includes a digital gallery featuring printmakers across the US, that will take place along with a traditional installation of print media at the Graffiti Building on LHUCA Plaza as part of this weekend's festivities.

Technology and social media continue to shape how we communicate and distribute media. Traditionally printed media is increasingly shared through digital means, passed from hand to hand via the phones we carry. The Print Waves Digital Gallery brings works from the small screens of the mobile device to the big screen in a public place. We hope to see you there!
