The Control Line Combat Museum

The Control Line Combat Museum A museum for the privileged few that have a clue what control line combat is. A collection of combat planes from 1949 to current. Enjoy! Bob Mears

Most are painted as on box, and correct motors as shown on plans. This will be an ongoing update to pictures as I get time to get them added. Many combat ships were donated by many combat pilots. Most were built by myself (Bob Mears), Andy Mears, James Mears, Wayne Welch, and several others that will be mentioned per model. We have all of the MACA newsletters, several Model aviation magazines that

pertain to combat, Lots of plans, several kits, a large combat engine collection, T shirts from many events, prop displays, fuel system displays, and about anything I can find showing control line interest. BTW, many control line plans are displayed on my page of "Controllineplans". They are free to download and print. This museum is free for anyone to wants to see it. Normally we try to have a combat event on Labor Day weekend and have a small party in the museum on that Saturday night. I welcome one and all to have a look at this collection. It's the only one in the world like it and designated to control line combat pilots from all over the world. We're a small bunch and I think it's great to have our sport brought to light for one and all.

Built a Combat Kitten for the museum. I need something to put the RR1 on. I had no idea what a crap kit these were

I am so stoked with this donation from the Dee Hill Estate. Dee was a great guy and wonderful modeler. This was from Dee's personal collection. He mounted up every engine and framed them up for a fantastic display. Dee you are missed dearly my friend, and Thank you so much for your donation to the Control Line Combat Museum!
