The 2025 New Mexico High School Rodeo Association (NMHSRA) State Finals are scheduled for May 22–25, 2025, at the Lea County Fairgrounds in Lovington, New Mexico .

📅 Event Overview
This multi-day event will feature the state's top high school rodeo athletes competing in various events, including:​

Ba****ck Riding
Saddle Bronc
Bull Riding
Steer Wrestling
Barrel Racing
Team Roping
Breakaway Roping
Tie-Down Roping
Goat Tying
Cutting
Reined Cow Horse
Shooting Sports

🐎 Venue & Accommodations
The Lea County Fairgrounds in Lovington, NM, will host the finals. Participants requiring stalls or RV hookups should contact the fairgrounds at 575-396-8686 for reservations and information.

🏆 Advancement to Nationals
The top four contestants in each event will qualify to represent New Mexico at the National High School Finals Rodeo, scheduled for July 2025 in Gillette, Wyoming. ​
