Louisville Pig Save

Louisville Pig Save Louisville Pig Save meets every Sunday outside of the slaughterhouse in downtown Louisville, KY from 1-3pm.

This is a way for vegans (& non-vegans) to bear witness & show compassion to the pigs at JBS Swift that are going to be killed. Louisville Pig Save is a community vigil started for the reason to have pig vigils in Louisville Kentucky. It is a way for vegans and non-vegans (who might soon become vegan) to come together to bare witness to the inhumane acts of slaughterhouses, and the meat industry. Please feel free to post photos of the vigils for others to see.

The amount of life lost to the cruel hand of man's will is obscene.

These animals are just babies when they are murdered.

The killing must stop.

& we are here to do whatever we can to speak on the animals' behalf.

Blood money made off the backs of these beautiful majestic creatures that are bred into a life of being exploited for "sport"😔

Every year, this is one of the biggest events here in Louisville that remind me why I'm in this city: to speak for the animals who need my voice🗣️

If you are local & wanting to join us, we will be outside the gates of Churchill downs holding signs starting at 4pm 🌹
