HipHop and Arts Festival | Louisville KY| Live in the music, Evolve in the moment 2015 was an exciting year for hip hop here in Louisville and across Kentucky.

Breaking national acts, performing at festivals and drawing large crowds at home and on the road. The is real! In spring, a number of artists came together, participating in a series of round-table discussions with the intention of networking, sharing resources and ideas, and collectively developing the scene. Out of those discussions arose a call for an event that would capture the full scope of the hip hop community, showcasing to a wide audience the many artists and talents we have to offer. LouiEvolve Hip Hop and Arts Festival is a manifestation of that idea. LouiEvolve is an all ages music and arts festival happening April 16th and 17th at Tim Faulkner Art Gallery. LouiEvolve will feature:

Live DJ's, graffiti, dance, spoken word, and over 40 rappers/emcees

Kids events and activities (during the day)

Food court, vendor plaza, lounge area, and full bar

And so much more...

Proceeds from this event will go to Forward Radio, youth art programs, and to the ongoing progression of the local hip hop scene. Two of Louisville’s rising young artists, Tayzzy and Chad Golden, are teaming up with some of the city’s most talented musicians for the LouiEvolve Superjam—bringing Southern blues, country, hip-hop and R&B together on one stage.

This ain’t nothing new…Different genres. Different generations. All rooted in Black music and the stories we’ve always told through it.

The LouiEvolve Superjam is bringing Louisville hip-hop and R&B together with a live Southern blues and country sound—led by Kiana Del, Adonis Gentry, and Chris King with Tayzzy, Chad Golden and now 1st Shift joining the lineup.

Kiana Del + Adonis Gentry will lead the band through a Southern blues inspired set, while some of Louisville’s finest hip-hop artists rotate onto the stage to perform a few songs —reimagined with a live band.

The Hip Hop Roundtable is back.

This fall makes 11 years of gathering around the table to share ideas, build together and put plans in motion.

This time, we’re getting organized for Bourbon, Blues and Boots - The MidSouthern Hoedown upcoming farmers markets and a few ideas that could bring music, food, vendors and the neighborhood together before the season is over.

Some ideas need a table before they need a flyer.

Pull up ready to share what you’re working on, contribute to what’s next and find where you fit in. 3o1 JUICEY will be in the mix with a fresh activation—and when the Roundtable ends, we’re rolling into the birthday kickback.
