Breaking national acts, performing at festivals and drawing large crowds at home and on the road. The is real! In spring, a number of artists came together, participating in a series of round-table discussions with the intention of networking, sharing resources and ideas, and collectively developing the scene. Out of those discussions arose a call for an event that would capture the ful
l scope of the hip hop community, showcasing to a wide audience the many artists and talents we have to offer. LouiEvolve Hip Hop and Arts Festival is a manifestation of that idea. LouiEvolve is an all ages music and arts festival happening April 16th and 17th at Tim Faulkner Art Gallery. LouiEvolve will feature:
Live DJ's, graffiti, dance, spoken word, and over 40 rappers/emcees
Kids events and activities (during the day)
Food court, vendor plaza, lounge area, and full bar
And so much more...
Proceeds from this event will go to Forward Radio, youth art programs, and to the ongoing progression of the local hip hop scene.
