Tree Lighting Festival Atwater Village For 2022 our 30th Annual Atwater Village Tree Lighting Festival is on Sunday Dec 11, 2022 from 5PM - 7PM, rain or shine. Volunteers. HOW CAN I HELP?

Beloved annual free Family Festival in the heart of Atwater Village to light up the 80ft Tree, meet Santa Claus, mingle with our Neighbors, support Local Businesses and celebrate our Community. Very Special Guest: Santa Claus, David the Elf and Shakaboom DJ. This year we're going BIG by closing down Glendale Blvd and giving more space to our stage and market tents with activities including Santa P

hoto Booth, Ornament Decorating, Hot Chocolate and Churros, Raffles, Giveaways and much more! BACKGROUND:
For 30 years the soaring 85ft tree in the center of Atwater Village lights up to herald the festive season. Families gather to welcome Santa Claus atop a fire engine from our local Fire Station 50, sip on hot chocolate donated by our community partners, sing some carols and merrily mingle with their neighbors. Ever wondered how this event actually happens? Over the years, different community groups and/or inspired individuals step up to steer the event, including the Atwater Village Neighborhood Council, Friends of Atwater Village, Friends of Glenfeliz Elementary, Holy Trinity, CD13, Griffith Park Lions Club and many more. This year we'd LOVE your help too! Donate a few dollars to help light the tree. DM us for info (yes it's Tax Deductible!)

Based in Los Angeles, Boleros With Attitude fuses the romantic vibe of classical boleros with the pulse and energy of hip-hop and R&B. With guitars, harmonies, and hard-hitting beats, BWA creates a vibe that crosses generations and cultures — perfect for a community celebration like ours.
