It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for!! Announcing the 2026 JazzReggae Festival lineup! ☮️

On our reggae side of things, it’s a Marley reunion! With family being a central theme of JRF, why not unite the 3rd generation Marleys to celebrate legacy, love, and the future of reggae music—right here at UCLA. 🏝️🎶

Bringing you soulful jazz, powerful storytelling, and unmatched musicianship, Braxton Cook will be headlining our Jazz stage, with support from the incredibly talented and dynamic Aneesa Strings. 🎺🎻

To clear up confusion surrounding the delayed artist announcements, we wanted to offer some transparency. This year, ongoing budget cuts and institutional challenges at UCLA created a significantly delayed planning timeline for JRF. As a student-run, and student funded festival, our team has worked tirelessly through those challenges to bring this year’s vision to life. Present you with an incredible lineup, community-beloved food & craft vendors, free sustainable initiatives, and student club collaborations, in a way that honors both the legacy and future of the festival. ☀️

Sustainability Village is bringing community, culture, and creativity to Jazz Reggae Festival!🌷

Join us May 25th from 11am-6pm in Bruin Plaza for fresh fruit bowls, CDs & vinyl giveaways, skating, and more activations you don’t want to miss. Bring clothing to get a screen-printed design!

No JRF ticket needed to swing by the village! Everything is FREE, but some goods are first come, first serve🫣 Pull up early and celebrate sustainability with us🎶💚

We’re backkkk with the lineup for our Battle of the Bands happening this Wednesday in Bruin Plaza from 12pm - 1pm🥁!! We’re so excited to announce the five groups that will be performing this week:

Reflections

Each group has prepared one song to showcase, and then our audience (YOU!🙉) can vote on whose performance was your favorite. After we tally up the results, the top two groups will get spots to perform on the main stage at JRF this year! 🎺

We’re so excited to announce our JRF Battle of the Bands: Student Artist Showcase 2026! 🎺🥁

This is a great opportunity to potentially earn a chance to perform at UCLA JRF 2026!!

☀️What: This is an artist showcase that will take place on May 6th on the Bruin Plaza Stage. Each group will prepare 1 song to perform for the judges and audience. Audience members will vote for their favorite band and the top 2 groups will be asked to perform at JRF this year, announced on May 8th.

💃🏾Who: You! We highly encourage any and all student groups to apply for the showcase.
