It is with broken hearts and an overwhelming feeling of sadness that we announce the passing of Reza Gerami. To many Reza was an icon, visionary, entrepreneur, and a trendsetter of the underground EDM music industry. He was truly ahead of his time. To us he was none of those things. To us he was a son, father, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He will live on forever while never truly being replaceable. We understand the need for many to want to know what happened and to engage in the process of speculation. But for his mother, his minor daughter and his extended family we respectfully ask that you not do that and give us the space and privacy to work through this tragic news. We appreciate and love the many tributes his extended village of friends has shared and thank you for them. We don’t have a lot of details but are working to obtain them. In the meantime, here’s what we know, our beloved Reza’s heart stopped beating and he is gone. We are left to figure out how to pick up the pieces. We will share more information when we have it and will communicate through his network. Thank you.
