Trying to give people an experience that they have been missing recently. We have small local vendors. We are something different that people are looking for. We are going to target adults through 18-28 and people that work in the creative field and have been looking for an escape.

BlurryEyez is a made-up music festival that I created for COM 310 as my passion project. I decided on a music festival because I haven't been to one in almost 2 years, then I was on tik tok and saw that Australia and New Zealand were living a normal life. That included music festivals and concerts. I thought why not make socially distant festivals such as the one that took place in England last year. That. is where I came up with this idea like I have mentioned in other posts on this website. I feel like many people around my age early to late 20’s feel like we are losing our 20’s so why not make something that is a new normal. Where we can just go to escape and feel good again. Decided to have it located in DTLA because I am from LA and most music festivals I have attended have been in LA. So I felt like I have more of an understanding and that is where the audience of people I would like to attend live. I wanted the music to be more on the indie side because that is all I listen to and what I find that most relaxing, as well for the vendors I decided that I wanted a small business. This is because throughout covid all we have heard besides how bad COVID is the suffering of small business. So I had the idea of them being vendors so they could get new business and the people attending could maybe find a new favorite restaurant to try after the festival. Overall Blurryeyez is a festival for people who want a feeling of normality while being COVID safe.
