For those racing tomorrow...

& the last minute details...
Thank you again for your interest in Sundayβs race & weβre looking forward to welcoming you to Long Branch! With that, I just wanted to go over a few final details:
Where is check-in?
The closest physical address is:
Pier Village
66 Centennial Drive
Long Branch, NJ 07740
This address will bring you within 50-meters of the gazebo on the boardwalk, where you will see tables for packet pick-up. Parking around this location is FREE until 10am, so unless you intend to stay past 10am, you do not need to pay for parking.
Is there a page where race information is posted?
This e-mail should cover any last minute questions, but we will continue to update the Facebook event page if there is anything significant between now & the race start:

What time is check-in?
6-7am
Check-in CLOSES AT 7AM!!!β¦so if you show up at 7:01am, youβll be too late! Additionally, RACE DAY REGISTRATION IS $100!!!, so if you have any friends who are interested in racing, they need to register at the link below NOW:

What do I need to do at check-in?
You will need to pick-up your timing chip, Long Branch Run-Swim-Run Bag & T-Shirt. Once you have these, see one of our volunteers for body marking (your BIB # will be marked on both your left AND right shoulder).
What time does the race start?
WOMEN: 715am
MEN: 745am
Where is the start/finish?
The start is located next to the Laird lifeguard stand (directly behind McLooneβs restaurant) & the finish is located behind Le Avenue restaurant.

All that being said, based on conditions, we may change the course but the course as outlined above, is what weβre planning for.
How many buoys are going to be in the water?
(2) yellow buoys, LEFT shoulder turn on each
How many lifeguards are in the water?
No fewer than (10) lifeguards will be in the water, equally stationed through the course (so roughly every 40-50 yards).
What is the water temperature?
As of the sending of this correspondence, 65F.
Can I wear a wetsuit?
Noβ¦wetsuits &/or any other propulsive devices (paddles, fins, etc..) are not permitting

Top 3 Overall (Male / Female)
Top 3 Age Group (Male / Female): 19&U, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 & 70+
Our intent is to start the awards presentation, no later than 830am.
