DAY 7: The murals are nearly complete, and what a transformation it has been! A huge thank you to all of the artists who spent the week bringing their visions to life and adding to Long Beach’s growing cultural landscape. Your talent, dedication, and creativity have made this year’s festival truly special ✨🫶🏽
We also want to give a special shoutout to and for hosting another incredible Moonlight Mash Mural Tour. It was amazing to see the community come together to experience the murals by bike and celebrate public art across the city.

A DECADE OF HISTORY IN 200+ PAGES.

Introducing Flying in Blind, a new book celebrating 10 years of Long Beach walls.

What once started as an email musing has grown into one of the biggest wall art festivals in the world. After 10 years of history and over 150 painted murals and counting, Long Beach Walls is publishing “Flying in Blind,” a new book capturing the first decade that transformed a small-scale show into an indispensable part of the Long Beach identity and community.

Created in collaboration with MAEKAN, Studio Bangu, and Creative Class Collective, it features over 200 pages that include interviews with artists and organizers including James Jean, Lauren Young-Smith, and Jasper Wong; photos of murals from each festival year; and rare ephemera spanning a decade of Long Beach Walls memories.
