John Lowell and Joanne Gardner Lowell started putting Hoots on in Livingston because they wanted to stay home and do some music projects. John Lowell tours the world performing and teaching at camps in Canada, Europe and across the country. Joanne Lowell has been touring with Rodney Crowell for over a decade. Joanne produced the first Red Ants Pants Music Festival as well as the Paradise Music Festival. John’s expertise performing on festival stages all over the country/world and Joanne’s event experience created this company. In addition to their 5th upcoming Livingston Hoot, they produced the National Park Centennial in 2016 with John Prine, Emmylou Harris and more. Their events have garnered Best Event awards from the Park County Community Journal voter’s poll and three Governor’s Tourism Event of the Year nominations.
