Weather Update:

Tomorrow’s weather forecast isn’t looking great… With heavy rain all day & projected 50 mph wind gusts, I’ve made the difficult decision to pack up early and withdraw from the final day of this years Fort Ligonier Days.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who came out this weekend to make this year our best one yet!

First glimpse at a few faves from Iron & Ember 💥

Slide 1 - Dendritic Agate - Normally more botanical in appearance, I fell in love with how explosive this little hex felt. Truly one of the centerpieces for building Iron & Ember’s color palette. More Dendrites on Slides 7 & 12 :)

Slides 2 + 9 - Lava Flow Jasper - Mined near the same volcanic deposits in Indonesia that produce Bumblebee Jasper, I quite literally stumbled upon this material in Tucson this year and knew I had to add it to the mix.

Slide 6 - Imperial Topaz Specimen - Need I say more?

Slide 8 - Sunstone - I’ve been hoarding this stone since 2018, the way it lights up in the sun is 😮‍💨

Slides 13 + 14 - Multi-Fire Moonstone - These gray moonstones have the most incredible schiller with pops of orange, yellow, & silver, and absolutely glow in the new shadowbox designs!

Slide 20 - Silver Sapphire Tablet - Setting this step-cut hex was a nail biter, especially with those lil claw prongs! Another stone I’ve been sitting on for years, the way this piece is cut shows the most drool worthy view of the Sapphire’s interior crystalline structure ✨

One last little Roman Glass for the feed 💫

This little pendant is pretty special - out of all the Roman Glass pieces I sourced a few years back, this one was the only clear one out of the whole lot. I love the ocean floor sort-of-texture it has, with flecks of opalescent gold dotted on the underside.

I have this one paired with an asymmetrical kinetic dot chain, which adds a bit of movement and helps pull some of those gold tones visually up the piece.

I loved a lot of the pieces in Coastal Cowgirl, but this is one of my faves for sure🌀

Hey there friends, popping my head out from behind the jewels to satisfy the Algo Gods & let you know we’re just FIVE days away from this year’s Fort Ligonier Days🍂

I’ll be returning this year with the Big Booth™️, the launch of my Fall Collection, Iron & Ember, a handful of new designs, and the introduction of an apothecary corner🌀

A new stone to me this year - Thompsonite!

I used it in a handful of pieces for Coastal Cowgirl, the soft pink undertones & patterning throughout reminded me of conch shell, and thought it was a perfect fit.

Thompsonite is a member of the Zeolite family of minerals and was originally discovered in Scotland in the late 1800s, but can also be found on the shores of Lake Superior. Smaller deposits have also been found in India, Russia, & Italy.
