Hello Family.
Hope all is well. We have a little less than 3 weeks before the big day. Can't wait to see ALL the family arriving. I would like to share the schedule of how the event flows for the weekend along with other few details I would like to share. I have some important information I would like to share.
I have not heard from a few of you in the group to get a headcount for our event. The importance of a headcount is for catering purposes, room space, ordering of gifts, vendors, and so forth. Please cooperate and consider the decisions the planner must make by getting the headcount. I don't want to leave out member counts due to last minute notifications, which can cause discomforts or inconveniences in areas. We definitely don't want that to happen. I really would like to get a headcount by Friday, June 17th. Our numbers are slightly growing in counts and I need to know if a larger banquet room is a requirement for us. We want everyone comfortable by having larger space if we have more attending. Large space means more $$$$ because more food will need to be ordered to accommodate us. The larger room has a dance floor, which is a huge benefit since we will have a DJ at the event. I can't order a large room if I'm not aware of members attending. These venues aren't free. We must pay prior to the events, not after the events. I want this to be a nice and successful reunion for us to reflect back in future years with hopes of more planned reunions to come. If you plan to attend please notify me of your headcount, and please make your deposits ASAP.
I would also like to request to please DO NOT bring your $$$$ to the event. We have Chase Bank branches all over the U.S. If you are a Chase member you have the mobile phone app that allows you to make check deposits. Your deposits are required prior to arrival. So please family do whatever you can to make my life easier and make your experience when you arrive to Dallas, Texas a memorable and a fun experience.
FRIDAY NIGHT, JULY 1ST
6:00PM until 8:00PM ----- Greet and Meet at Hilton Garden Inn Lewisville Convention Center in Lewisville
I plan to provide you a LIGHT snack that night at your arrival. I will hand out your t-shirts at the hotel. Please arrive early as possible for your T-shirts since I will be leaving the event on time to participate in the next event. Please be there on time since this portion of the event will be short. I will try to have the paid shirts together for your group. I will have the spreadsheet of those shirts paid for. If you haven't paid for your shirts please be ready to pay at pick-up.

Hotel - Hilton Garden Inn in Lewisville, TX
We will be staying and banqueting at this hotel during the stay. This hotel has all the essentials pool, fitness center, ATM, access to shopping centers, restaurants, etc. Several rooms have been blocked by management to assist you in reserving prior to the event. If you know with certainty, or a little uncertainty you will be coming, I recommend you reserve a room ASAP. Our event is during the 4th of July weekend. The hotel is close to DFW Airport and is popular with businessmen/women for reserving; therefore, you don't want to wait last minute to reserve. The hotel has held the rooms until July 4th for those that decide to stay another day. Staying past Sunday may be a little higher than the promotion, but under this family account they assured me they will provide the best rate since Sunday evening, July 3rd is considered past the weekend time. Please know it's getting close to the cutoff to reserve rooms. I would urge you to make preparations ASAP in reserving to get your discounted rate. When the discount is removed please know there is nothing I will be able to do in order to assist since this was part of the contract when family had ample time to reserve.
Every person with a room reservation will need to ask for their breakfast vouchers to eat free breakfast every morning. Please ask the hotel hosts for breakfast times. I will be staying at the hotel as well. I may know the breakfast times by that time to assist with that question.
Breakfast served from 7AM - 11AM
The swimming pool closes at 11PM.
8:00PM - 8:45PM ---- Make preparations to leave for the casino event. Be ready to load the bus around 8:30PM to ensure everyone is on board at a timely manner.
Please contact me if you plan to ride the bus. The bus does have a restroom facility. There is no cost for the ride. You are only responsible for what you spend at the casino.
I have over 30 seats reserved for the bus ride. You must be on the list to attend, unless there are seat unfulfilled, and at that point you may ride. I wouldn't recommend waiting last minute since seats have filled pretty quickly.
9:00PM ---- Departing to Windstar Casino ------ to Thackerville, Oklahoma
The 56 passenger bus will arrive at the hotel and will depart at 9PM. We will be departing on schedule headed to the casino. Ride will take about 50 min for arrival.
SATURDAY, JULY 2ND
2AM -- 3AM ----- Departing the casino back to Lewisville
Please be at the bus ahead of time prior to departure to ensure you are there timely. We will be leaving the casino on time.
AROUND 3AM ---- Arrive at back at the hotel
Getting plenty of rest because we have a full day! :0)
10:30AM - 3PM -- PinStack Event Center - website is http://pinstackbowl.com/.
We will arrive at 10:30AM so you can receive your play cards, bowling shoes, etc. Let's please plan to wear our T-shirts....especially, the children. I'm hoping all members will represent by wearing their shirts. You may wear blue jeans, shorts, khakis, etc with your shirts. Wear your athletic shoes since this is an indoor event center. We want to prevent any injuries by wearing supportive shoes.
11:00AM - 1PM --- Lunch buffet at PinStack in the private room
Lunch buffet style meals will be served only this time. This means you will not wait until 12:40PM to start eating. I want you to enjoy your lunch without being rushed; therefore, we will eat early so you can enjoy the rest of the time for other events. Parents please be there to attend the event with your children. Family will try to assist as possible, but we would like you there since we can't watch everyone.
1:00PM - 3:00PM --- Leave PinStack
Family you have the option to stay until 4PM, but please know you must drive to the hotel and get ready for the Family Group Photography and 6PM Banquet Event. I will leave that up to you, but please understand the banquet event will start on time. I encourage you to leave on time.
5:50PM --- Family Group Pictures
The photographer plans to take the whole McKeever Family Group Pic! Please arrive on time because we want this done prior to the banquet.
6:00PM - MIDNIGHT --- Banquet Night ********** PLEASE DRESS UP AS YOU WOULD FOR CHURCH. If you are not wearing a suit it may be a dress shirt and tie. No jeans, khakis, flip flops, etc. As Tyler Perry Madea would say, "Casket Sharp!" :0)
Looking forward to this night. This is when family will have their downtime and enjoy their dinner together, recognitions, games, and dancing. This will be a sad time for me because I know after that night it will be almost time for you to leave us.
SUNDAY MORNING, JULY 3RD
EARLY BREAKFAST --- Breakfast
10:30AM or 11AM --- Fellowship with Family
Inspirational speaking with family. This is where we can discuss future plans on the next reunion. My understanding there are church fellowships with 2 churches in the hotel; however, management offered some space where our group may sit, talk, inspire, and enjoy the last few minutes since some will be departing on that Sunday. We will discuss later after everyone's arrival.
I know I can't remember everything, but hopefully I have covered many areas to assist in making this reunion a pleasant and memorable experience for everyone.
