The Thursday Night Thunder Angler of the Year standings are final!

This season’s points system rewarded both consistency and performance throughout the year:

5 points for every tournament attended
50 bonus points for fishing 10 or more tournaments
15 points for a 1st-place finish
10 points for a 2nd-place finish
5 points for a 3rd-place finish
10 points for a Smallmouth Lunker win
10 points for a Largemouth Lunker win
10 points for a Small Fish win
10 points for a Junker Lunker win
50 bonus points for the most 1st-place finishes
25 bonus points for the most total lunker wins
25 bonus points for the most Small Fish wins

If anglers tied for a season-leading bonus category, each angler tied for the lead received the full bonus.

After a full season of Thursday nights, Ty Orr finishes on top as the Thursday Night Thunder Angler of the Year with 410 points. Ty put together an outstanding season with 13 appearances, 7 first-place finishes, 3 second-place finishes, 1 third-place finish, 6 lunker wins, and 2 Small Fish wins.

Congratulations to Ty and to everyone who finished in the Top 10. More importantly, thank you to every angler who showed up throughout the season and helped make Thursday Night Thunder what it was this year.

What a way to kick off the Friday Night Featherweight Fishing Series!

Our very first tournament was an absolute success, with 62 boats showing up and over $3,000 in prize money paid out. We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout or a better group of anglers to help us get this series started.

Congratulations to Harley Cornett & Ethan Collis, Avery Johnson & Tyler Federson, Andy Nix & Trevor Ezell, Ty Orr & Jacob Woods, and our Big Fish winners Rodney Yates & Billy Tipton. Great job to everyone who cashed a check and competed hard all night.

Most importantly, thank you to every single person who came out, fished, supported the tournament, and helped spread the word. A tournament is only as good as the people who show up to support it, and you all made the first Friday Night Featherweight one to remember.

We started this series hoping to create a fun, competitive Friday night tournament with good payouts and a great atmosphere, and 62 boats on night one exceeded our expectations.

This is just the beginning. We appreciate everyone who helped make the first one such a huge success, and we’re looking forward to seeing everybody back out there for the next Friday Night Featherweight!

⚡🎣 Thursday Night Thunder Classic Qualification Update 🎣⚡

The race to the Classic is coming down to the wire!

We currently have 23 anglers officially qualified, with 11 more still having a path to get in. There are only two regular-season tournaments remaining, and July 30 will be the final one.

Anglers must have 11 tournaments to qualify, and one buy-in spot is available. That means anyone listed in the “Still Can Qualify” group can make the cut by fishing these final two events and using the buy-in if needed.

The Thursday Night Thunder Classic will be held August 22.

Congratulations to everyone who has already punched their ticket, and good luck to those still battling for a spot! ⚡🏆
