Our 2025 event may be canceled but KC Retro Is not. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend check them out! They will be featuring some creators who were previously announced for our 2025 event prior to cancellation.

They are not owned or organized by Kanimecon Lawrence but we love to show support for local and surrounding area events and creators. ❤️

CherriDragonCosplays has been cosplaying for 9 years, creating a wide range of costumes from Halo to Disney’s Silly Symphonies. She has crafted numerous cosplays, worked extensively with 3D printing, and competed in many contests across multiple conventions.

Kanimecon Lawrence has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s (2025) event. This decision was not made lightly. Many factors played a role and we recognize that a low attendee count would lead to attendees and vendors not having a fun, successful and memorable experience. At the end of the day, we want to be responsible event runners and do what is best for our attendees, exhibitors, and performers. While difficult and heartbreaking, we believe this is the right thing to do.

So all Kanimecon Lawrence 2025 badges and booth spaces will be refunded. The return will go back via the method you originally paid. Once the process has started it is expected to take roughly “5 to 10 business days for attendees to receive the refunds” according to the information we have from tabletop.events. If you do not have a refund by 9/5/2025 please contact us so we can try and find out why.

We are committed to regrouping, making improvements, and coming back stronger and better. Kanimecon Lawrence’s next event dates are not yet finalized. We are still looking into new locations. If we secure an indoor venue, there’s a possibility we may return earlier than expected.

Kanimecon Lawrence truly values your support and we sincerely ask that you give us another chance. We want to do what is right for our community. Your patience and understanding mean the world to us, and we look forward to creating an even better experience together in the near future.

We are offering $20 USD off the remaining Standard Vendor Hall Exhibitor booths to anyone primarily selling official anime merch, collectible toys and figures, comics, videos games and or tabletop/boardgames. This will be limited to those whose applications are accepted for 2025.
