✨ RIDGE FEST VENDOR SPOTLIGHT! ✨

Today we are excited to shine the spotlight on one of our very own Pine Ridge family members — Katelyn Powell, owner of Katie’s Stitches! 🧵❤️

At just 23 years old, Katelyn is a stay-at-home mom and wife who discovered her love for sewing simply as a way to pass the time during the day. But from the very beginning of her sewing journey, she fell in love with it — and what started as a hobby has grown into an amazing small business!

With the support of her husband and, most importantly, God, Katelyn has been able to turn her love of sewing into something truly special. She knows that none of this would be possible without the strength and support she receives from both of them. 🙏❤️

When she isn’t sewing, Katelyn is busy being a full-time mama. And when she’s working on Katie’s Stitches, her main goal is something we absolutely love — upcycling and bringing life back to things people may think are beyond repair.

There’s something special about taking something that seems like it has reached the end of its life and giving it a whole new purpose. Katelyn says that part of her gets a little spark back every time she gets to bring something back to life. ✨🧵

And y’all… she is SO talented! We are incredibly thankful to have her not only as one of our Ridge Fest vendors, but as a part of our Pine Ridge family! ❤️

As you’re making that drive home this evening, we hope you’re having a wonderful day! But we have one little question for you…

WHO’S READY FOR RIDGEFEST?! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

We’ve got vendors, food, fellowship, and a whole lot of fun waiting for you! Our Pine Ridge family is working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready, and we can’t wait to welcome our community out for a special day together.

So, while you’re driving home today, go ahead and make those Ridgefest plans!

Who are you bringing with you? Your family? Your friends? Your neighbor who always says they need to get out of the house more? 😂

🤎 RIDGEFEST BEHIND THE SCENES: MEET MR. KENNY YOUNGBLOOD! 🤎

Today, we’re shining a little light on another one of our very own Pine Ridge family members who helps make Ridgefest possible! And let us tell you, Mr. Kenny Youngblood is a HOOT! 😂 He loves to laugh, joke, and carry on with just about everybody, and we’re so glad to have him as part of our Ridgefest team!

Mr. Kenny is a returning helper from last year, and if there’s something that needs doing, chances are he’s willing to lend a hand! From helping with lawn care and other things around the church to jumping in wherever he’s needed, he’s someone we’re thankful to have in our corner.

🚜 So, what will Mr. Kenny be doing at Ridgefest this year?

He’ll be one of our side-by-side operators, helping get folks where they need to go throughout the day!

🛍️ Helping vendors get back to their booths after parking their vehicles.

🚗 Giving visitors a lift from the parking area to where they want to go.

🤎 Traveling between different areas to help people get around.

🗑️ Keeping an eye on trash cans and helping make sure our facilities stay nice and clean throughout the event.

Now, that might sound like a little bit of everything, and that’s because IT IS! 😂 But these behind-the-scenes jobs are so important to making sure everyone has a wonderful Ridgefest experience.

Mr. Kenny, thank you for your willingness to serve, your helping hands, and all the laughter you bring along with you! We appreciate you more than you know, and we’re so thankful you’re part of our Pine Ridge family. ❤️

When you see Mr. Kenny riding around in that side-by-side at Ridgefest, be sure to wave, say hello, and give him a big thank-you for helping make this day special for our community!

We’re excited to spotlight another one of our amazing Ridge Fest vendors — Celia Broom, owner of Sewing with Celia! 🧵❤️

Celia has a special talent for taking beautiful fabrics and turning them into handmade pieces that are not only useful but absolutely beautiful!

She creates quilted table runners, reversible bowl cozies, potholders and hot pads, tote bags, wall hangings, and other unique sewn items. She’ll have beautiful fall colors and seasonal designs, along with festive Christmas décor and one-of-a-kind gift ideas!

Everything is handmade with care, and you never know what beautiful fabrics and designs Celia will have waiting for you!

Celia will be sharing a booth with Sonya Cascio, so be sure to stop by, say hello, and see what they’ve been sewing!
