Looking for something a little different?

BlackFrame Society is hosting a photography workshop on November 14th, 2026! There will be a 2 hr workshop where you will learn from some of the best photographers in the field, Myself (Haunted Raven Photography) and Michael Castro!! Together we will be teaching you how to step up your game a little more, or teach those who have been wanting to learn a bit of photography but don’t know where to start! Whatever level of photographer you are, this is perfect for you!

After the 2 hr workshop it will then switch gears into the warehouse part, there will be 8 premade sets for you to put what you learned to the test!

PHOTOGRAPHERS. MODELS. CREATIVES.

On November 14th, BlackFrame Society is taking over an industrial warehouse in Philadelphia for 8 HOURS of learning, shooting, experimenting, and creating.

We start with a 2-hour photography workshop covering lighting, camera settings, posing, framing, editing, location scouting, and the creative process with BlackFrame photographers Michael Castro and Drew Babineau. You’ll also hear directly from industry models about their experiences working within the creative community and what really makes a shoot work from both sides of the camera.

Then the warehouse is yours.

You’ll have 6 HOURS of shooting inside The Reservoir with access to 8 different photo and video sets. Build your own concepts, work with other creatives, shoot new portfolio material, experiment with something completely different, or schedule a session with Michael and Drew.

And the work you create could land in BLACKFRAME SOCIETY ISSUE 2.

This isn’t a photography class where you sit in a chair all day listening to someone talk about taking pictures.

We’re going to teach.

Then we’re going to CREATE.

Went on a spooky field trip yesterday with the crew from Laurel's House of Horror all the way to Pennhurst Asylum for the Haunted House attraction!! Lemme just say it was definitely worth it all! By all, I mean my screams and my feet trying to run 🤣🤣

Had a great time last night with everyone!! 🤘

What an honor to be apart of something so unique and special!! Plus to be in the first issue of this magazine is incredible! I couldn’t be happier to be apart of something that about lifting everyone up and showcasing the different creatives and creators! Between photographers and filmmakers to models and influencers right down to locations as well. This is a something you wanna get behind!!

Plus Michael Castro making it even better by adding in filmmaker. Seeing that on there really put a giant smile on my face. Because you’re god damn right. Filmmaker in the making 😅 and boy do I have some cool s**t up my sleeve in the works currently. That i am so damn excited to showcase to you all!!

But this is just the beginning for 13thmarkerfilms and I am so excited about it all.

Thank you for all of you that believed in me, and a big thank you to those who didn’t. Y’all just fueled me to push harder 🙏
