We Unite Easter Egg Hunt
The annual We Unite Easter Egg Hunt takes place the Saturday before Easter, from 2pm till 5pm at Wiley Post Park, located at 2021 S Robinson Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73109.
Several community leaders and local organizations have joined forces to provide a fun filled day with free food, crafts, and decorating an Easter basket made using recycled materials. The event is designed to unite the community together for an extravagant event for the children while producing a creative atmosphere for them to pass to the future. “The holidays have become so cliché. I remember when I was a child, we took cereal boxes, milk jugs, you name it, and we made our Easter baskets, dyed eggs, and had an egg hunt within our family” quotes founder Ms. Betters. “It was something my cousins and I looked forward to every year. When I had children, we continued the tradition, and now we are uniting as a community”.
This event was created with hopes to give every child who attends a great childhood memory. The event caters to hundreds of children each year and growing. There are free hot dogs, chips, snow cones, popcorn, and drinks. They will also make numerous keepsake crafts, a talent show, and the Easter Bunny is on site for pictures. Bring the family and have a memorable time!!
