I have been feeling the call lately to build community. In these uncertain times we need to re-establish our human heritage. We need our village.We need to reconnect to our neighbors, and we all know women get things done. I am facilitating a monthly women's circle at Old Fort Yoga once a month starting the 3rd of August from 12-2pm. I will provide some snacks and beverages. Come join our community!

I will be at the Bluegrass concert tonight with PJ's Breadworks serving up ice cold non alcoholic beverages to go with his delicious sandwiches!! There is so much going on in Old Fort. We have fought back strong after Helene. Please consider coming out and supporting my amazing town full of artists, musicians and entrepreneurs! So proud to call Old Fort my home town!

At the new Arrowhead Gallery space 77 Catawba Ave. I will be parked with delicious drinks and right next to me will be my new friend with scrumptious healthy donuts! There is art classes and down the street is Santa, a kids party with stuffed animals, and ICE SKATING!!! 🎉🤩🤩 OLD FORT STRONG!! COME OUT 10-6. Parade at 4, tree lighting at 6!

Hey Old Fort, NC Townspeople Talk , Foothills Food Hub Jacqueline Smith and any residents or business owners in Old Fort or pleasant garden .I own a small trailer. I have beverages I missed out on selling (cold brew, chai , sodas, juices) that I want to serve to my community. PLUS I have a grill and two propane cook tips. Looking for a few places to set up to cook up food and give out drinks. So here is what I am thinking: if you have food that you can't cook and is about to go bad. I want to help you cook it. Need food? Let's help you get some! Want to help out/ donate? Let me know! Feel free to text if you need help, or if you have a spot we can set up for a day. 702-496-2261. Y'all, I can't believe it's been a year!! Also, I can't believe it's ONLY been a year. I am finally finding my rhythm and looking forward to the future. It's been very hard, and very rewarding. I love my regulars. I am so grateful to for making me a regular and introducing me to the community with such happiness and love. Looking forward to a fantastic 2 year!

So excited to be a part of this new market!! Awesome vendors, artisans, and music make for a magical night on the lawn! I'll be celebrating my 1 year anniversary Friday night and Saturday morning at the Black Mountain Tailgate Market.
