What an unforgettable day at Border City Sportsplex!
Watching NBA Champion, 8-time NBA All-Star, and future Hall of Famer Dwight Howard interact with our athletes was something truly special. From the moment camp started until the final picture was taken, Dwight brought energy, enthusiasm, and a smile that never left his face. More importantly, he made sure every kid felt seen, encouraged, and inspired.
The kids absolutely loved Superman, and Superman definitely showed Laredo some love right back.
To think that Border City Sportsplex would one day host a player of Dwight’s caliber is a dream come true. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. It’s about creating experiences that make kids fall in love with the game, build confidence, and create memories they’ll carry forever.
