Our Fringe team is still reflecting on the big weekend from this August, reporting back to our funders, and making notes from what we learned. It would seem we're doing this again next year! ☝️ BUT we need help.

Scroll through the graphics below to see some snapshots from Laramie's first Fringe weekend, and let us know if you think you could help lend a hand.

Event planning for Fringe 2027 will start early in the new year, with artist applications opening in mid-February. If you'd like to be on the list to learn about how to be involved in planning, comment below. We'd love your input (and funds, if you have them too!).

¡
THIS WEEK!

Four Wyoming women artists are bringing their work to communities across the state through Wyoming Women to Watch: A Book Arts Revolution, a new traveling exhibition opening at the Laramie Plains Civic Center.

Friday, Sept. 25 | Laramie Plains Civic Center
5–7 p.m. | Public reception, Gorgon Gallery
5:30–6 p.m. | Artist discussion, Phoenix Ballroom

The exhibition will remain on view at the Gorgon Gallery through Oct. 22 before traveling to Lander, Ucross, Jackson and Casper in 2026–27.

Join AARP Wyoming, Strong Towns, and the City of Laramie for a walk audit of our neighborhood!

They will be covering three areas of town and want a variety of people, ages, and adaptive device users (walkers, canes, wheelchairs, bikes, strollers) to participate, so that when the areas are redesigned, they work for everyone.

It's no secret that our Civic Center corners could use some love. Join the conversation on October 2nd at 1 PM. Find more details in the flyer attached or contact Jennifer at [email protected].

We're still recovering from Fringe weekend and feeling grateful for everyone who made it happen. From volunteers to partners providing in-kind gear, this event was a labor of love, pulled together on a razor-thin budget and fueled by a whole lot of hopes and dreams!

Please join us in extending our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this weekend possible. Click through to see who's on our hearts this week.

If you haven't yet, check out the event survey. This helps us *fingers crossed* get more funding for future events and do it all again! Find the attendee survey at: https://wkf.ms/4xoSJgO
