Many don't know the history of Oktoberfest! The first Oktoberfest was October 12th, 1810 in Munich, Germany. This was a city wide celebration for the wedding between Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Sachsen-Hildburghausen. The festival was moved to September in 1872 and is still celebrated in Munich, Germany! Today we celebrate the spirit of community at Oktoberfest with good food, beer, and entertainment.
