Vendors will have sport cards and memorabilia, Pokemon, Magic, and other non-sport cards, autograph signings and more! United Way of Jasper County and The IOWA Foundation are teaming up to host Washer City Card Con, a card convention that captures the excitement of cards and memorabilia. Washer City Card Convention – named as a nod to Newton High School teams of the past The Little Washers – will
promote Newton and Jasper County, have a positive economic impact on the community, and - most importantly - raise funds for United Way of Jasper County and The IOWA Foundation. Our event is set for Oct. 24 & 25 at the Iowa Speedway Newton Club. While the event will be like many card shows, this convention has a deeper cause aimed at raising funds for two Central Iowa charities that impact thousands of people each year. 100% of proceeds all support the charitable works of United Way of Jasper County and The IOWA Foundation.
