We are officially ONE WEEK away from Paddles & Premieres Weekend in La Crosse and we could not be more excited!

From May 29–31, we’re bringing together an entire weekend of free paddling experiences, community events, outdoor adventure, and the incredible Paddling Film Festival World Tour at the Rivoli Theatre on Saturday night.

The best part? Every single event all weekend is completely free.

Adventure friends, we have to share this. Tommy has taken an idea, to a vision, to almost reality. He’s crushed it every step of the way! Now, he’s dang close. If you are able, or know someone interested, it’d be awesome to see the greater community push this project to the goal line.

One of the films we’re incredibly excited to feature during the Paddling Film Festival World Tour at the Rivoli Theatre is Riverbound – The Storybook Has Just Begun.

After a canyoning accident left expert kayaker and former pro guide Yak paraplegic, he set out to rediscover what life on the river could look like. Through packrafting, he takes on the powerful Class III rapids of New Zealand’s Upper Buller Gorge in a story that is equal parts adventure, resilience, and possibility.

Directed by Dylan Gerschwitz and produced by Deane Parker, this film asks an important question: how can paddlesports become more accessible and welcoming for everyone who wants to experience the river?

This is exactly the kind of inspiring storytelling that makes the Paddling Film Festival such a powerful experience! We'd love for you to come be a part of it.
