artist and instructor Alexia, is based in Knoxville, Tennessee. This dynamic group of talented dancers has rapidly gained attention in Knoxville and beyond for their upbeat, professional performances and unique, engaging choreographies. Alexia and the Alexandria Dancers combine elements from both classical and modern Lebanese and Egyptian Raqs Sharqi (colloquially known as "bellydance"), as well as other Near Eastern and Mediterranean dance traditions and incorporates them into a style that is uniquely their own, thrilling both American and International audiences. The Alexandria Dancers are available as a group or individually to perform a wide variety of ethnic dances to suit your individual needs:
