Introducing GROUP DATE NIGHT!! October 19th at 6pm
Goodwater Vineyards has welcomed quite a lot of newly transplanted couples in the area. We have decided to do something special so that we can all wine and dine and get to know our community. This special dinner will be served warm on a fall evening in the field. Plan on dressing warm. Blankets will be provided. We are planning on having a photogrpaher as well. Port by the fire pit afterwards🍷🔥
Come meet new friends at a special evening in the Vineyards. Dinner starts at 6pm. 10 spots are available for this first dinner at an intro price of only $30 per person!

As we countdown the days to the festival, we want to celebrate! Ticket prices will be increasing October 16, so we will be giving away discounted tickets for TEN DAYS!

Every day from October 6th-15th we will draw a winner. You and a friend will each receive a two-day pass and choice of an add-on ticket. Add-on ticket options are a tethered balloon ride, a wine garden ticket, or a beer garden ticket.

Our Story

Nine Lakes Wine Country and Nine Lakes Wine Festival are sponsored by the Appalachian Region Wine Producers Association, a Tennessee Not-For-Profit Trade Association, formed in 2015 to promote the common interest of its members in the grape and wine industry in the Nine Lakes Region of East Tennessee. The Board of Directors and elected officers contribute their services in support of our mission and do not receive any compensation.

Our work centers on the following:

Growing Tennessee Agriculture – Less than 2 percent of wines sold in Tennessee are produced in Tennessee. A strong Tennessee wine industry grows Tennessee Agriculture, preserves Tennessee Family Farms, increases Tennessee Tourism, and attracts investment.

Establishing Identity For Our Wines – For the wine industry, a sense of place is crucial to brand identity. We believe the Nine Lakes Region of East Tennessee qualifies to be its own American Viticultural Area (AVA) and a petition was submitted in 2018 to the Department of the Treasury Tax and Trade Bureau to establish Nine Lakes as the first single-state AVA in Tennessee.
