Students from Conger, Ponderosa, Henley, Peterson, and Stearns had a fun, chess-filled weekend in Portland! Conger and Ponderosa students competed in the team tournament on Saturday, and then were joined by Stearns and Peterson students competing in the individual tournament Sunday. One Henley student competed in the high school individual tournament on Saturday and Sunday. They all had wins, losses, and lots of fun!

Conger Elementary School also qualified for state in the elementary team tournament division.

Ponderosa Middle School also qualified to compete in Portland in the team middle school division.
