Join us in welcoming back Bear King Brewing Co. to our 2025 Taste Highland Lakes vendor lineup!

Legend has it that centuries ago, a mysterious creature stalked the outskirts of Marble Falls. Some say it was half-man, half-bear. Others claim it was just a bear, or simply a man. Either way, the myth of the Bear King stuck.

"It's stories like this one that inspire us here at our brewery. Not only are our craft beers based on legends, myths, and stories of all kinds, we also want to provide the community with a place they can bring their friends and family to enjoy craft beer and share their own stories, or make new ones. Cold beer and good company can always be found at Bear King! We are excited to participate in Taste Highland Lakes again because there are so many great places to eat and drink in the Highland Lakes, and thousands of great people who make our community so successful and enjoyable to locals and tourists alike. We're happy to be a part of a gathering that highlights our small town communities, and are especially excited that we will be benefitting our youth and young adult programs during the event. Since 2018 Boat Town Burger Bar has prided itself as a place families can gather by boat or car while enjoying fresh seafood and burgers on the lake.

"This will be the third year in a row that Boat Town Burger Bar will attend Taste Highland Lakes, and we are looking forward to the festivities again this year. As a vendor our team gets to make food to order at the event and enjoy having great conversations with guests. The Highland Lakes community is a very friendly and welcoming one, and we love being able to serve them. As a first time vendor with us, Rick Sturdevant; owner of Dos Rios Tequila since it was established in 2018 has been distributing some of the finest spirits in the world, all while sharing a vision of quality and tradition.

"We aim to create perfectly distilled smooth tequilas that reflect the rich soil of Jalisco, where the blue agave plant thrives. Our products are described as "perfectly distilled and refreshingly smooth," embodying the personality and boldness of Texas. We are a locally owned Texas company based out of Llano and New Braunfels. As a first time vendor with us, Joanne McCavery; owner of Lost Roads Baking Co. since it's creation in 2023 has been running a full-service retail bakery that specializes in old-world baking with a modern twist.

"We offer breakfast items, lunches, and a variety of cookies, cakes, squares, and sweet rolls. We also have a sourdough line of products and offer gluten friendly options for both dine in and take out. At Lost Roads Baking Co. we pride ourselves on serving the community scratch-made baked goods that have organic ingredients.
