BLUE COLLAR BOYS 2026
Prostock/mini-Mod Mowers Rules!

1. MOWER MUST BE A FACTORY LAWN MOWER, NO Drive shaft driven mowers

2. NO REAR ENGINE LAWN MOWERS ARE ALLOWED.

3. ENGINE MUST BE FACTORY LAWN MOWER ENGINE SUCH AS BRIGGS & STRATTON, TECUMSEH, ONAN,

4. NO BUMPERS!!

5. TRANSAXLES MUST BE FACTORY AVAILABLE MOWER TRANSAXLES BUT ANY REINFORCING AND/OR WELDING OF SPIDER GEARS IS PERMITTED

6. ENGINE BAY REINFORCING IS PERMITTED BUT MUST BE CONTAINED UNDERNEATH THE HOOD!! ( if you don’t understand message me!). CAN STILL RUN THE KICKER FROM SIDE CAGE TO FRONT END BUT FRONT TIRE MUST STILL BE ABLE TO HIT

7. ALL MOWERS MUST RUN A FACTORY HOOD & FENDERS & HAVE THE HOOD EITHER SCREWED OR WELDED DOWN TO DASH PANEL AROUND DRIVERS AREA ( NOTE IF HOOD IS FIBERGLASS YOU CAN MAKE ONE OUT OF SHEET METAL ONLY BUT MUST BE THE SAME SIZE AS THE FIBERGLASS ONE)

8. MOWERS MUST HAVE GOOD BRAKES & FORWARD & REVERSE GEARS AT THE START OF THE HEAT.

9. GAS TANK MUST BE SECURED & HAVE A CAP ON IT (ANY GAS AT ALL LEAKING & YOU WILL BE ASK TO SHUT IT DOWN)

10. LEG GUARDS ARE MANDATORY & MUST BE BOLTED AND/OR WELDED FROM REAR FENDER TO FRONT OF FOOT REST OR FRAME

11. MUST BE ABLE TO HIT ALL 4 TIRES FROM THE SIDE, FRONT AND BACK!

12. REGEARING & CHANGING OF PULLEYS TO INCREASE SPEED IS PERMITTED.

13. MOWER CAGES CANNOT BE WIDER THEN 40in wide outside to outside

14. ALL MOWERS MUST USE LAWN MOWER TYPE WHEELS. TRACTOR TREADS ARE PERMITTED BUT NO TIRE CHAINS OR DUAL WHEELS WILL BE ALLOWED.

15. MOWER DECKS MUST BE REMOVED

16. ALL HEAD LIGHTS & ANY OTHER GLASS & PLASTICS MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE YOU ENTER THE PITS.

17. BATTERIES MUST BE REMOVED FROM MOWER & ONLY USED TO JUMP START THE MOWER BEFORE THE HEAT BEGINS. IF A PULL START IS USED DRIVER WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RESTART ENGINE DURING THE HEAT.

18. GO BY THE PICTURE PROVIDED ON THE EVENTS.

19. IF YOU GET ROLLED OVER YOU ARE OUT.

20. WEAR HELMETS AT ALL TIMES WHOLE ON THE TRACK.

21.IF YOUR FOOT TOUCHES THE GEOUND OR ANOTHER MOWER OR WALL YOU ARE OUT.

22. IF YOUR HAND TOUCHES THE WALL OR ANOTHER MOWER YOU ARE OUT!
23. NO RIDING AROUND IN PIT AREA.
24. NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES OF ANY KIND.
25. LISTEN TO JUDGES AT ALL TIMES OR YOU ARE OUT.
26. ANY UNSAFE DRIVING OR ANY ARGUING/FIGHTING YOU ARE OUT!
*Stay seated or you are out!
*NO arguing with officials
*DRIVE IDLE SPEED IN THE PITS!
*Anything unsafe you will be Dq’d.

Rules may be clarified or updated at anytime.
All judges decisions are final.
We reserve the right to deny any entry for any or no reason.
If it’s not covered in these rules that means you can not do it.

Motor swap

* starting JULY 25th @ Macon co fair*

03-2011 will be allowed.

-Front bumper must be MAX 22” from ground to bottom of bumper. If it’s over you’ll cut until it’s right.

-you can cut frame back to the front of the factory eye but absolutely no farther or you’ll be loaded. Don’t even touch the factory eye. You can not recess the front bumper with the frame period.

-you’re allowed 2 true- 4”x4”x1/4” mounting plates on each side to help hold bumper on. Plates must touch bumper. Plus can have a true 4”x4”x1/4” plate that can be welded on top of your factory eye.

- you’re allowed 1- 3”x6”x1/4” plate from bumper back. No bumper shocks inside frame.

-you can have a metric bolt in cradle. (Bolted only no welding what so ever) meaning plug welds etc. if found you’ll be loaded no option to cut.

-factory steering racks only, after market tie rods are fine, tie rods must go from rack to spindle, there can’t be a bar/link that goes from spindle to spindle. Strut spacers are ok. Ski high steering shafts are ok but absolutely no Hydro steer.

-Can change upper an arms to steel ones but they must bolt on in factory location & spindles can be swapped for box ford or 98-02. NO aftermarket spindles or welding on spindles.

- you’ll be allowed 2 True- 4”x4”x1/4” plates on frame so choose wisely where they’re placed.

-you’ll also be able to crease the rear quarters with a normal crease job. The rear frame rails must have a dimple on each side at least a 3/4” deep.

- factory core supports or you can cut a 98-02 core support & weld in 3 locations single pass only for radiator.

-NO PITCHING AT ALL.

*SMALL CAR RULE UPDATE*

Front bumpers can be 4”x6” max. That way it covers the whole frame section, like a factory bumper does.

BLUE COLLAR BONE STOCK MOWER RULES GOESIN EFFECT IMMEDIATELY!!!!!
1. Absolutely no garden tractor style mowers such as John Deere 200,300, 400 series mowers crasftman 5lug or 1 in axel mowers
2. Factory front engine mowers
3. Must be belt driven only
4. If you’re mower has a plastic grill you can replace it with sheet metal the same thickness or find a metal front grill
5. You’re hood can be bolted to front part of frame or setting on top of frame and to dash to help keep it held down
6. You’re allowed two pieces of 5/8 all thread to help hold hood down in front of your motor, all thread has to be ran straight up and down in front of motor any other way it’s coming out!
7. Can run a spark plug protector but it has to mount to your motor and only your motor should not be reinforcing the frame in anyway if it is you’ll lose this rule
8. Cage’s can ONLY BE WELDED in one spot and that is in front of your clutch and that is it! Cage size an thickness can be 2x2 1/8 now read and read very carefully, you can come out off the bar in front of clutch and either run a leg bar just up to fenders ( 1 leg bar) or you can build a square style cage with one bar in center so it’s not an open hole so your foot don’t get hit!! Can have the cross bar behide the seat but it has to be touching the fenders! No cutting and beating the fenders flat to make it stick out farther then mower it’s self! If you’re running a square style cage, The cage CANNOT DROP below the floorboards so that means Your bottom bar has to run even with floorboards!! And ABSOLUTELY NO SHEETING THE OUT SIDE!!!!!!! THIS IS A BONE STOCK CLASS NOT MODS WANNA RUN MOD CAGE BUILD UP A CLASS
9. Bumpers these have been pushed way out of hand, so if it is NOT A factory lawn mower front bumper you will not run it plan a simple!! your bumper has to be BOLTED ON, ABSOLUTELY NO WELDING!!!
10. Front end pivot you can ONLY weld a bolt an ONLY A BOLT (not no plates) over top of cast iron front end so it won’t pivot, if it’s a metal housing you can put 2 spot welds on it or bolt it!
11. Deck brackets I know a lot of people use them and how they are used! They are to be BOLTED ON and only bolted on! This is a bone stock mower class not no mod class no sense in all this nonsense of welding
12. Absolutely no pulley swapped mowers! I know some mowers come with factory smaller rear pulleys and some come with a factory larger motor pulley but if I see something homemade or store bought it will not run
13. Bolt ins is allowed such as gas pedal or cable shifter( bracket cannot reinforce frame an has to be bolted if u run shifter)
14. Any wheel and tire combo is allowed!
15. Motor exhaust you can run headers through the hood or down under the mower, NO headers protectors if you don’t want your header bent don’t run it!!
16. Spindles and cross tire rod in the bend of spindle in the bend behide the wheel you can have 1/8 plate ONLY, if you don’t understand message me for example, cross tire rod you can brace it up so it don’t bend an your wheel wing out. We done go slow enough already to have wheels looking like that!! over do this rule you won’t run
17. ALL MOWERS THAT PLACE IN MONEY WILL BE REINSPECTED ON THE TRACK IF IT HAD SOMETHING ADDED AFTER INSPECTION YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED ON SPOT
THIS IS A BONE STOCK CLASS LETS KEEP IT THAT WAY! Every thing needs to be bolted on unless stated otherwise in rules!!

I’m not putting up with this gray area BS anymore I’ve learned people will take you for granted and think they can get away with this or that and it’s not happening anymore!!

There is youth and rookie drivers that wanna come enjoy the sport with every one let’s encourage them to come run!!!

Guys starting today READ these rules. No more cutting x in plates. All plates and welds will be cut off or car gets loaded. We will allow the cars to be creased.

GUT & GO RULES 2026

CARS MUST BE 100% STRIPPED ON THE OUT SIDE. You can leave front windshield but everything else has to be stripped on the outside.

1. Any Fwd automobile 112” wheelbase. Any rwd automobile 106” wheelbase. If 4wd must remove one driveshaft

2. Gas tank and battery may be relocated. It can only be under the car if in front of rear suspension area

3. You may have a drivers/ passenger door bar 12” past door post and 1 bar behind the seat, and rollover bar must go straight up and down

4. Any wheel and tire combo is allowed but you cannot reinforce any suspension components ( tierods, struts, trailing arms ) so choose wisely!

5. OEM Factory bumpers , (except Chrysler bumpers will not be allowed ) it can be seam welded but not stuffed. Ends of bumpers can’t be capped. In place of this you can have a piece metal minimum 2x2 max 4x4 as a bumper but ends can’t be capped. Tubing must be straight & not altered in anyway!!!

6. You may have a true 3”x3”x1/4” plate half on bumper half on frame (for the top of bumper to help hold bumper on)
You’re also allowed a true 3”x6”x1/4” plate (ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE FRAME FROM BUMPER BACK) *you abuse theses & you’ll lose them completely*

7. Chain or tape your doors, hood, and trunk. Can weld drivers door in 2 spots per vertical seam with a 3 in max per spot. *Drivers Door Only*

8. You can CREASE quarters. Not frame rails! Can v your trunk in the center but cannot build a trunk

9. Can raise front suspension and put a bolt for height but absolutely no welding or reinforcing.

10. gas tank protector is allowed 2”x6”x24” max wide. It can touch sheet metal but the sheet metal (CAN NOT BE ALTERED IN ANY WAY). This is for drivers safety.

11. You can have a 1” max weld from the K member to the subframe. (THIS MEANS 1” not 1”1/2 not 2”) you weld more then that & you’ll cut it free completely!
