Kent International Festival Kent International Festival celebrates the cultural diversity in Kent, WA by Learning From Each Other We are a 501c3 nonprofit.

The Kent International Festival is a celebration of the cultural diversity represented in the Kent community and South King County. With over 130 languages spoken in the Kent School District, our area is a top choice for new immigrants. In response to this growing diversity, our planning committee of volunteers along with organizations and businesses share an interest in celebrating our community'

s culture. The Festival showcases the region’s ethnic dance, musical performances, spectacular native attire, cultural booths and delicious authentic cuisine. Our festival is held on one day every year on the first Saturday after Memorial Day weekend.

The Kent Festival was a fantastic day where we brought STEM learning to life with our Straw Rocket Launch Station. Community members and students designed, built, and launched rockets while exploring the science of flight. Students excelled as leaders, explaining rocket mechanics and encouraging younger children. We also discussed STEM careers related to rocketry, engineering, and problem-solving, inspiring curiosity in attendees. The event was filled with excitement, smiles, and hands-on learning, showcasing our students' teamwork and communication skills. We're grateful to everyone who participated and celebrated the joy of learning with us!

We want to thank everyone who showed up at the Kent International Festival this past Saturday. We had great weather, wonderful vendors, performers, volunteers and attendees.

All the planning and organizing was complete worth it to see everyone having fun, enjoying music and dance and food. We came together and showed what makes Kent and the surrounding areas such a diverse and inclusive place.

Welcome to Kent International Festival! It is happening today. Have fun, learn from each other, enjoy performances inside accesso ShoWare Center and outside, stroll through all our vendor booths and eat some delicious food from our food court.
