Statement from District Attorney Xavier Solis

The Heartland Post article highlights a growing public safety concern for southeast Wisconsin. At a time when communities need accountability and strong enforcement, Governor Evers’ commutation process reflects the wrong approach. Wisconsin should be focused on truth in sentencing, protecting victims, and keeping dangerous offenders behind bars.

Our office will continue to aggressively prosecute violent crime and stand up for the safety of the people of Kenosha County.

There are some in town that like to use the time around elections to pontificate on who they think you need to vote for…
