A huge thank you to our community, vendors and especially Chacewater Winery and Olive Mill. With crowds estimates of about 500, 2019 Kelseyville Olive Festival was a huge success. Thank you for coming out and supporting Lake Family Resource Center. Mark your calendars for next year. April 26, 2020

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support Wonderland at the Kelseyville Olive Festival yesterday! We love working with the kids in Lucerne and were really surprised Saturday when Landon and Lexi asked if they could join us.

We told them we would be leaving at 6 a.m. and would not be returning until after 6 p.m. They didn’t care. They wanted to volunteer, and their parents were on board.

Lexi was our cashier, while Anthony and I cooked and made drinks, and Landon spun cotton candy for six hours in the hot, hot sun. Not a complaint out of either one, even when we all felt like we would drop. We couldn’t have done it without them.

We were told several times that we are doing a good thing and the community is lucky to have us, but I don’t know... when we think back to the days spent with good natured, hardworking kids, we feel like the lucky ones.

Can’t wait to see you all there! It’s gonna be an amazing lake county day!!

I believe we have finally finished all the pitas! See you tomorrow at Kelseyville Olive Festival. We'll be serving up Souvlaki Style Pork with Tomato, Red Onion, Cucumber, Olives and Tzatziki on this crazy delicious Bread. And for the vegetarians and vegans around, a great Pasta Salad packed with roasted Mediterranean veggies, with or without Feta!
