We would like to introduce United for the Unsheltered of Kalamazoo our non-profit we would like to support with this event. A percentage of are raffled ticket sales will go and we will be collecting the needs of community at this event.
Here is some information about this organization.
United for the Unsheltered is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with gold-level status on Guidestar, the premier destination for non-profits and non-profit research. We’re dedicated to addressing and alleviating the challenges our unhoused neighbors face. Our mission is to provide essential resources, support, and advocacy for individuals and families currently unhoused. Through community partnerships, outreach programs, and innovative solutions, we offer immediate relief by distributing fresh, hot meals, ready-to-eat travel foods, hygiene kits, and other assistance. By uniting compassionate individuals and organizations, we work to address the urgent needs of the unsheltered while offering long-term solutions for stability.
Here are some of the needs they need for the summer.
Sunscreen, bottled water, single serve drink stick mixes to add to water, bananas and bug spray. Send us an email at [email protected] and we can meet up to pick up donations. Between Grand Raids & Kalamazoo.
These are the donation we are looking for, October 11th at the door.
Hand warmers, toe warmers, socks, new ChapStick, mylar emergency blankets, non perishable food and canned goods.
