Bhakti Fest Bhakti Fest & Shakti Fest celebrate devotional living through Yoga, Sacred Music, Workshops & Meditation

Bhakti Fest is currently taking the form of intimate week-long retreats around the world. Bhakti also manifests as a four day music festival celebrating devotion through chanting, yoga, meditation and community. The Center for Spiritual Studies Inc, Bhakti and Shaktifest's Non-Profit Organization is a social enterprise dedicated to supporting collective evolution, and has raised funds for several

causes and charities over the past 44 years. All of our presenters embody the spirit of Bhakti - deep devotion. We gather on 450 acres of inspiring desert land to express our love and devotion as one community through an enchanting array of activities, including:
- Constant Kirtan Concerts
- Yoga Classes
- Private and Group Meditation
- Vegetarian, Vegan, and Raw Vegan Cuisine
- Fire Ceremonies (Pujas)
- Hanuman Chalisas
- Eco-Friendly Vendor Village
- Camping, Cottages and Cabin Accommodations
- Wellness Sanctuary: with massage, reiki, channeling, and other unique healing sessions.
- In addition, a substantial portion of the festival's proceeds are donated to charitable organizations

Happy Spring Equinox, Bhakti family 🌿✨

At its heart, Bhakti Fest exists to bring people together through music, devotion, and shared experience. It is a space to remember who we are, to open our hearts, and to feel less alone.

We know it’s been quiet here this year, and truly, we miss you.

This has been a tender and complex time in the world. There is so much pain, division, and uncertainty, and it has only deepened our commitment to this work. We believe more than ever in the power of gathering, of practice, prayer, and of being in community rooted in love.

While we will not be holding a full Bhakti Fest in the desert this year, this is not the end. It is a re-rooting.

We are currently working on a series of fundraising events and smaller gatherings to reconnect in 2026, with the intention of bringing Bhakti Fest back fully in 2027.

We need your support in making this next chapter happen.

We are actively looking for donors and supporters who believe in this mission and want to help ensure Bhakti Fest continues for years to come. If you feel called to support, we would be so grateful. We also ask you to share this with anyone in your life who may feel aligned.

We need our Bhakti family’s support in helping us find those who want to see this community continue.

You can contribute through the link in our bio to the honor the heart fund.

More announcements coming soon with ways to gather, sing, and reconnect.

We love you. We miss you. We can’t wait to be back together soon 🧡

🧘‍♀️ We were recently asked, “What level of fitness do I need to attend one of your events?”

Our answer? None.

Yoga, in its truest form, was never about how the body looks or how far it bends. It began as a practice of devotion, self-inquiry, and union — a way of remembering our connection to the divine, to the breath, and to one another. The asanas were meant to prepare the body for stillness, so the heart could awaken and the spirit could listen. 🌿

Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or have practiced for decades, you belong here. Our gatherings welcome every body, every background, and every journey. 💖

Come as you are. Move as you can.
The practice will meet you exactly where you are.

✨ Artist Spotlight: Shimshai & Susana ✨

We are honored to welcome Shimshai & Susana to the Bhakti Fest Zone at Sebastopol Bloom, October 24–26 in Sebastopol, CA. 🌿

Together they invite us on an intimate and healing acoustic journey, offering original and traditional ceremonial medicine music that carries the spirit of devotion and ceremony from North to South. Their voices weave in harmony, simple and pure, guided by decades of world travel, tradition, and prayer.

Much of their music is sung in Spanish and Indigenous languages of the Americas, often with English translation, allowing the powerful healing messages to be received by all. Accompanied by Shimshai’s soulful guitar and sometimes joined by flutes, percussion, or other instruments, their music becomes a living prayer. 🎶

🌼 Susana (Xochitlquetzalli) is a Colombian-born medicine woman and spiritual teacher rooted in Indigenous Colombian lineage. Her ceremonial path extends from the Amazon to the mountains of Colombia, Mexico, and North America. She shares the gifts of Creation through ceremony, retreats, and personal guidance.

🌼 Shimshai is a sacred music singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, described by many as carrying the voice of an angel. His music is filled with ancestral devotion and invokes love, unity, and remembrance of spirit.

Join us this October to experience the magic of Shimshai & Susana in the Bhakti Fest Zone at Sebastopol Bloom.
