Chameleon Bookstore was founded by Mike Messina & Lorraine Bezy, opening on May 1, 2000. For 25 years it has been a downtown Johnstown staple, blending Messina’s dream of a quiet used bookstore with Bezy’s love for live music & parties. Located across from Central Park & now overseen by Mike & his partner Kathy Roseman Barefoot, the shop adapts throughout the day, offering quiet browsing by chance or appointment & vibrant gatherings by night. 📚✨ They’ll be open for Bardstock, 11a-8p!!
