Because cyberpunk lets us tell the truth about naturism in a future facing way.
NÜDHAUS has always been about more than people gathering n**e. It’s about asking: what does freedom look like when the world keeps trying to control bodies, identity, technology, sexuality, and self expression?
A cyberpunk theme gives us the perfect world to explore that.
It lets us imagine a future downtown Jersey City where nudity is normal, bodies are not treated as scandals, and naturists are not hidden away from the culture. Instead, we’re right in the middle of it: music, lights, art, nightlife, community, and immersive storytelling.
It also gives us a way to talk about something deeper: how naturism can be misrepresented by platforms, organizations, algorithms, fake community, and even AI. Cyberpunk is about fighting for humanity inside systems that try to flatten people into one acceptable version of themselves. That connects directly to Ethical Naturism. We’re saying naturism should not be controlled by outdated expectations, shame, respectability politics, or people pretending there is only one “right” way to be a naturist.
So next year’s NÜDHAUS theme is cyberpunk because it lets us build a world where naturists are not escaping society.
We are redesigning it.
A world where social nudity is non sexual, expressive, diverse, futuristic, artistic, and alive. A world where Black and Brown bodies, q***r bodies, disabled bodies, older bodies, younger adult bodies, soft bodies, scarred bodies, all bodies, are not treated like glitches in the system.
They are the signal.
NÜDHAUS 2027 is cyberpunk because the future of naturism should not look beige, hidden, or afraid.
It should look electric. It should feel immersive. It should make people step inside and think, this is what naturism can become.
