Does your pup have what it takes to strut, sparkle, and steal the show? 🐶✨ Break out the bows, boas, rainbows, tutus, and most fabulous Pride looks for our Doggy Pride Costume Contest!

🏆 The competition is fierce—and the trophies are coveted!
Our four-legged contestants will take to the runway at 4 PM, competing for our fabulous 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place trophies!

And there’s plenty more happening throughout the afternoon:

WE’RE ON FOR SATURDAY! 🏳️‍🌈🎉

At this time, the Jersey City Pride March and 26th Annual Jersey City Pride Festival are scheduled to proceed as planned on Saturday, August 22.

🌦️ The Festival is RAIN OR SHINE!

We are continuing to monitor the weather forecast closely and are coordinating with the City of Jersey City and our production teams as we prepare for Saturday.

As always, the safety of our attendees, vendors, performers, volunteers, and staff is our priority.

Should weather conditions require any changes to the March or Festival schedule, we will communicate those updates as quickly as possible through our official Jersey City Pride channels.

For now, get those rainbows — and maybe your umbrella — ready! ☂️🌈

🏳️‍🌈📚 ERASURE GALLERY 2026 × ON BOOKS: DAVID WOJNAROWICZ 📚🏳️‍🌈

As part of Jersey City Pride, Curious Matter presents the 2026 edition of Erasure Gallery, an ongoing project examining q***r history, cultural memory, and erasure.

This year’s exhibition turns its attention to the writings, work, and legacy of David Wojnarowicz — artist, writer and activist whose uncompromising work confronted AIDS, censorship, politics, sexuality and the silencing of q***r voices.

Through books, archival materials and personal objects, the exhibition considers an artist whose work repeatedly faced censorship, suppression and institutional retreat — and whose voice continues to speak with extraordinary urgency.

The night before the Jersey City Pride Festival, come out and get the celebration started at the 26th Annual Jersey City Pre-Pride Party at Hudson Hall!

Join us Friday night for music, dancing, drink specials, good vibes, and plenty of Pride as we get ready for Jersey City’s biggest LGBTQ+ celebration of the year.

🌈 Show Your True Colors—Now More Than Ever.

Light up the night and celebrate Pride on two wheels with Bike JC's Annual Pride Ride, one of our official Jersey City Pride Month partner events!

Join cyclists from across our community for an evening of fun, visibility, and connection as we roll through Jersey City in a colorful, illuminated celebration of Pride. Part of Bike JC's popular Light-Up Ride Series, this relaxed, no-drop ride welcomes riders of all ages, abilities, and identities.

Decorate your bike with lights, wear your brightest Pride colors, and enjoy a friendly, social ride at an easy pace (approximately 8 mph). The route covers about 15 miles through Jersey City's neighborhoods, with regrouping stops along the way so everyone rides together.

Bring your bike, front and rear lights, water, a spare tube, and your Pride spirit. Bike JC's experienced volunteer ride marshals will help keep the ride safe, welcoming, and fun from start to finish.
