Registration Fees: $75 weekend pass per each rider (dual/adventure/dirt). Saturday only is $40; Sunday only is $40.

RV sites with water and electric are $50/night. Reservations recommended. Primitive camping is $20/night.

Friday, November 14, 2025: 8:00 am – 9:00 pm
Saturday, November 15, 2025: 6:00 am – 8:00 pm
Sunday, November 16, 2025: 6:00 am – 11:00 am

Once you register for Dual Sport/Adventure Ride, you will receive the routes via email with instructions for the GPS app.

Thursday through Sunday

• SHOP ‘TIL YOU DROP, CASH PRIZES. Turn your receipts into RV Office by 10:00 AM on Sunday. All receipts from downtown Jefferson businesses, museums and restaurants count toward prizes. (lodging, gas, diesel, groceries and fast-food restaurants are excluded). Winners will be announced at noon on Sunday.

 7:00 PM – Tribute to America fireworks show with five cannons firing dramatic “Dragon’s Breath”
Saturday and Sunday:
 9:00-3:00 Motocross track and cross-country course are open for dirt bike riders

Please mark your calendar now for 2025 Diamond in the Rough and invite your friends: November 12-16. We do have the RV Park for sale so will keep you updated if the sale interferes with this date.
Don and I promoted this event to raise money for Jefferson Adopt-A-Cop (JAAC), a local 501(c)3 charity. We will donate $4000 from the registration fees. In addition, Peggy Walker, JAAC Treasurer, drummed up an additional $1,062 handed to her at the Friday evening Meet and Greet; and the Sunday morning breakfast, from people enjoying the festivities. We appreciate your generosity.
This event far exceeded our expectations and was a unique opportunity to travel the back roads of the Piney Woods on dual sport and adventure bikes. The 89 riders that participated in the weekend event and the 31 riders that rode the national motocross track started arriving on Wednesday and rode the self-guided routes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sunday rides were cancelled due to rainy weather. Mr. Don needs to change his name to Diamond Don Sunshine.
Diamond Don Rainey & Diamond Don Racing; and Mark Berg & Central Powersports Distribution offered a $200 cash prize for Shop til you Drop; and $200 cash prize for Poker Walk to bring riders and their families to downtown Jefferson. Valerie Mosely won the Shop til you Drop; Heather Hutchins took second place. Chris Graber took first place in the Poker Walk with a straight flush; Valerie Mosely took second with a full house.
Thank you for your participation so that we can continue to support local Law Enforcement Officers. Local department budgets don’t have funds to pay for all of the equipment needed by law enforcement officers. JAAC helps these officers receive reimbursement for their out-of-pocket expenses for business equipment not covered by their employers. This includes guns, boots, ammunition, and other equipment on their utility belts. JAAC provides funds for all law enforcement officers dedicated to service in Marion County. Peggy Walker says, “as a small community, this program is so valuable to the support and morale of our law enforcement”.
JAAC is proud to have received Marion County Chamber of Commerce 2022 Nonprofit of the Year award “for going beyond the limit of community service and giving back to this city and county”.

We are just two weeks away from Diamond in the Rough Dual Sport Adventure Ride in Historic Jefferson, Piney Woods, Texas, November 15, 16 & 17, 2024, at Diamond Don RV Park.
Online registration is open until noon on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at www.DiamondDon.com. Once you have registered, Melissa Moit will email you the six dual sport/adventure routes with directions on how to download the app.
Registration at Diamond Don RV Park will open at 1:00 on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Once you register at the park, Melissa will email the routes.
Have a vintage dirt bike? Bring it along and ride the Diamond Don National motocross track!
Don’t ride? No worries – just come on out for a good time with old friends and new ones.

Only 35 more days until the dual sport adventure ride in beautiful Jefferson, Texas. Come spend the weekend with us. On Friday night we will have a meet and greet dinner and on Sunday there will be church service along with a full breakfast. Online registration is up and going. Event t-shirts are available ONLY if you register online, there won't be any for sale on site. We look forward to seeing you guys' next month.

Want to be close to the action? Bring an RV and spend the weekend in the Diamond Don RV Park. We have plenty of 30/50amp hookups with water. $45 per night.
