Florida Nerdlesque Festival

We believe if you're going to do something, you do it right. So It is with great sadness we announce postponing the festival until further notice due to funding issues in hopes to have our first inaugural weekend successful with ALL involved roles paid ethically, from the diverse/inclusive selection committee, to judges, to headliners and even competing performers, in a safe ADA compliant venue. We hope to aim for 2025 once funding is available to do so & we will announce it as soon as we can. The sunshine state gets the sinfully nerdy treatment! INTRODUCING to the stage the first annual FLORIDA NERDLESQUE FESTIVAL, tentatively scheduled* for the late summer of 2024, with applications opening the spring of 2023!
With scholarship opportunities and app fees waived for performers of marginalized groups/identities in our early bird app window during spring '23!
In a commitment to inclusivity there will be a diverse selection committee & judges/headliners will be booked with representation in mind. All performers selected to compete for titles will receive Florida's burlesque industries going rate(s) for compensation.
More announcements will be made later in 2021* with confirmed dates, locations, Headliners, Guest Judges and more!
