Green Fest Indy - 2010 will have an interpreter on the Green-It Stage on Friday for Mayor Ballard's session, Saturday for the first leg of the Eco-Chic Fashion Show and Sunday for Sara Snow. There will also be interpreter available during the show for limited hours. Those hours are still TBD.

RECYCLE at Green Fest Indy - 2010. We are collecting items for Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana. Drop off your food donations at the event. Please be sure to bring only canned or boxes foods. Items needed Beef stew, tuna and other canned meats, Macaroni & Cheese and other boxed dinners, Cans of soup, 100% Juices, Applesauce, Canned vegetables, Peanut butter & Canned fruits. No Glass containers please.

RECYCLE at Green Fest Indy - 2010. Bring your smaller items to drop off at the Goodwill Collection center. Then on Saturday at 11 AM you can see how to take Goodwill buys and turn them into stylish fashion. The Eco-Chic Fashion Show is being coordinated by Fresh Fettle and brought to you by Goodwill, The Art Institute, Liz Alig and Salon Orange Moon.

Come and hear about the projects that the Indiana Green Business Award winners have been doing in the State and why its so important for business and consumers.

Student competition launched. Randomly selected schools received information about a "What going green means to me?" contest. Students can submit an art piece or write an essay. Meijer gift cards will be awarded to the winners at Green Fest Indy - 2010.
