Appalachian Fun & Festivals The Northern Appalachian Folk Festival returns to Downtown Indiana, PA for its fifth year in September 2017.

The annual celebration of the region's art, culture and music will bring live performances by national acts, homegrown and handcrafted items, and of course, delicious food. NAFF promises something for everyone, down to our youngest attendees who will find games, activities and performances in Children's Alley. Leap's Farm Sponsors our Harvest Festival! gets underway 5:30p with vendors at the Indiana Theater. Stick around for the original Night of the Living Dead (filmed in Western PA) at 7p, followed by the Legend of Boggy Creek at 9p. $7 for one movie; $10 for two. Free pumpkin sitting is available. Or so we are told.

Downtown Indiana will host its first Lovin' Downtown event of 2021 on Saturday, March 13 with Lovin' St. Patrick's Day. Celebrate with specialty drinks and food at restaurants throughout downtown.

At 11 am, Spaghetti Benders will once again host the Wee Lads & Lassies Leprechaun Look-Alike Contest. Prizes for the funniest, most authentic and best St. Patrick's Day spirit. Open to the young and the young at heart! No pre-registration necessary - just be at Spaghetti Benders at 11 am.

At noon The Coney will host live music with the Laurel Highlanders Pipes and Drums and an indoor socially-distanced St. Patrick's Day parade. Enjoy Irish food, music and more!

Throughout the day, visitors will find St. Patrick's Day specials at downtown shops and restaurants such as a Pot O' Gold discount at William and Mary Gift Shoppe, drink specials at Casa Jalisco Restaurante Mexicano, green smoothies at Woody Lodge Winery,
Irish Potato Cookies at Insomnia Cookies and Irish-themed drink specials and corned beef paninis at The Artists Hand Gallery & Espresso Bar. At El Tesoro Mexican Bar and Grille, enjoy green drinks plus something special is brewing at Voodoo Brewery - details TBA or stop in and check it out Saturday!!
