A little light for all of us grieving this week... Registration is officially LIVE for the 2nd Annual Meghan’s Run 5K 💜

Join us on Saturday, May 9, 2026 as we come together to run, remember, and celebrate Meghan—a daughter, sister, teammate, and bright light in so many lives. Last year, the first annual Meghan's 5K, was a beautiful day of almost over 400 volunteers and participants, who showed up to support their community, and overall - enjoy a day of Meghan's light and laughter.

We know this is a hard week for so many of us who are grieving. Please know you’re not alone. We hope this year, more than ever, our community shows up—to support one another, to honor Meghan, and to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

Whether you run, walk, volunteer or simply come to cheer others on, your presence means everything. Register now through the link in our flyer or by scanning the QR code! Don't forget, we are also hosting the Evening of Champions the night before the race. We hope to see you at both.

✨ Introducing the first-ever Evening of Champions ✨

Want to support the MCM Memorial Fund, but running isn't your style? Or are you running the 5K and want to get fired up the night before? Maybe, you just want a really good dinner with great company. If you answered yes to any of these, join us for the Evening of Champions, held at the Hyannis Yacht Club on May 8th, 2026.

Here, you'll enjoy dinner, guest speakers, raffles, and a cash bar all while celebrating the night before Meghan’s 5K. It’s going to be an inspiring kickoff to a meaningful weekend!

We don't want to give everything away just yet... but our speakers of the night will be members of the Cape Cod Community, the sports & entertainment industry, and have overcome extreme circumstances in their lifetime. It's going to be a night to remember...Registration is now LIVE!

We’re incredibly proud to share that the 2026 Meghan Constance Moore Memorial Scholarship award has been increased from $5,000 to $10,000!

Thanks to the continued generosity and support of our community, we’re able to deepen our commitment to honoring our mission and investing even more meaningfully in the future of our recipients. This increase represents not just financial support, but our belief in their potential, their dreams, and the impact they will make.

Who can apply:
Women who are graduating high school seniors from any Cape Cod school and have demonstrated dedication and hard work as a student-athlete. This scholarship honors Meghan's remarkable legacy to empower future student-athletes. The selected applicant will now receive not $5,000, but $10,000 toward their continued education.

This month, our families invite you to join us for the Second Annual Moore–Capolino Memorial Game, held in loving memory of Meghan Moore and Sidney Capolino.

We are so grateful to the NEC Women's Ice Hockey community and everyone who continues to honor Meghan and Sidney through this game. The dedication of this game is something our families hold near and dear to our hearts. Their spirit, strength, and kindness live on through the people who gather in their name.

For those of you who weren't able to make it last year, this year's event is being held on Saturday, February 21st at 1:00pm at the Lee Clement Arena, at Meg & Sid's alma mater, New England College in Henniker, NH.
