When we first prayed and designed the Encounter Houston Conference, we knew it had to be different, attractive and truly life giving. In 2016, what we came up with honestly looked more like a party or vacation than your typical Catholic conference: the venue was a resort and spa, on a lake, with a water park. The ministry team ignited joy in our hearts, rather than shame. We recognized that relaxa

tion and rest is paramount, and is actually more important to the soul of young adults in their 20s and 30s, than a day packed full of head knowledge and content. And in 2017, we're doing it again we truly hope you join us. We're bringing the gathering to the shiny new Marriott Marquis Hotel in Downtown Houston. Whether you are a young family with kids (we have babysitting!), or a student just finishing college. Whether you haven’t been to church in years or discerning religious life.
